Plot Synopsis
An eccentric single mother on welfare, harbors an obsession for Elvis Presley in which she turns her house into a gaudy shrine. When a prim young social worker is assigned to her case, both women come to realize that in order to find happiness they must give up unrealized fantasies and long held resentments.
