Plot Synopsis

In a maximum security prison for women, a hardened, older inmate, serving a life sentence for murder, finds life turned around when she is chosen for a new program training dogs as companions for the disabled. The volunteer program, started by a determined nun, sets out to prove that even the most violent and unrepentant criminals can be rehabilitated. When the project is shut down, the once antisocial felon seeks to help others by appealing to the warden for a last chance to prove the programs's worth.
