Plot Synopsis

Twenty years after his encounter with the witch, a grown-up Hansel returns to the haunted forest, seeking revenge for his sister's death. He uncovers witches and their covens and destroys them with weapons of his own creation that carry magic only he has been able to harness. One day on his journey, he encounters a powerful necromancer named Abyss, and learns a large and powerful coven of witches is hidden in the mountains nearby. The witch, Noir, is the most powerful he has come across, and a creature called The Harbinger -- half gargoyle, half something unknown -- guards her. It is her avatar, flying across the lands seeking out victims for Noir, allowing her to gain ever-increasing power by kidnapping and converting young women to witches to join her coven. He is soon shocked to learn that his beloved sister, Gretl, is in fact alive, and Noir is living inside her body, possessing Gretl in order to keep herself from aging. He must kill the Harbinger and find a way to exorcise Noir from Gretl's body without killing his sister in the process.
