Plot Synopsis

In order to support her two boys, widow Patty Montanari begins selling contraband cigarettes and soon finds herself in a torrid love affair with Frank Russo, a captain in a Brooklyn crime family. Impressed with her moxie the family Don recruits her to carry "dirty" money from Canada into the United States. As a trusted confidant to the Mafia she learns that Russo murdered his own son and begins to realizes that she or her own children could be his next victims if she doesn't do what she is told.
