Plot Synopsis

Los Angeles-based event planner Chelsea Whitmore has been hoping for a hard-earned promotion to Vice President of Events Development. However, her hopes are dashed when her boss asks her to mentor the outside hire who gets the job instead. Chelsea soon learns that her uncle, who she hadn't seen in years, has left her the deed to his chalet in Vail. Disappointed about losing the promotion and feeling ready for a change, she quits her job and heads to Colorado, ready to write the next chapter in her life. The first person that she meets in Vail is handsome local contractor Owen Becker. When she later resumes a renovation project her uncle had started on the chalet, she is surprised to discover that the initial contractor on the job was Owen and that she'll need to enlist his help to get the job completed. Owen gets to work on the chalet then invites her to join him for a fun day in the snow and they begin to get to know each other. Owen shares that he has put his professional life on hold in order to help his dad Karl hold on to the struggling Edelweiss restaurant while Chelsea admits she'll likely be moving back to Los Angeles or New York to resume her career Owen is soon impressed with Chelsea's talent and drive and begins to fall for her. However, she didnt plan on liking the beautiful town and its friendly inhabitants so much. Now completely in love with Vail, shell have to choose between returning to Los Angeles or remaining in the place she has grown to call home and finding out where this budding romance might lead.
