Plot Synopsis

A young women in prison for the murder of her abusive husband is recruited into an inmate forest firefighting program run by a strict superintendent. After graduating with an award of valor for saving her instructors life, she completes her parole and works to build a new life. Years later she is assigned to head an elite unit of veteran smokejumpers. She must soon prove her leadership skills when her team is brought into fight a blazing inferno in a state park filled with campers, including her daughter and uncle.
