Plot Synopsis
In the year 3040, a young New York doctor is sent to a war-torn planet in a distant white-dwarf star system to do a six month residency. There he finds a world divided into warring hemispheres, one of perpetual darkness and the other in constant daylight. He is soon caught up in quelling sinister forces bent on destroying an imminent peace accord between the two sides of the embattled planet.
