Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Mary Higgins Clark. The owner of an exclusive Madison Ave. boutique agrees to help her friend, a newspaper reporter, expose the use of illegal immigrant labor in the fashion industry. When her pal is found murdered she sets out to find the killer. At first, she suspects it might be a mob boss her U.S. Attorney father sent to prison years ago but ultimately uncovers the truth-- the murderer is her Uncle, a top fashion designer.
