Plot Synopsis
In 1990, a bluecollar Pittsburgh mother sends her all American son off to college. He soon becomes entangled with a wealthy frat brother and an older, alluring con woman-- and then disappears after a suspicious warehouse fire. Mom teams up with a private investigator to discover the truth: that her son has been murdered by his ''new friends'' who were afraid the boy would tell of their larcenous crimes. The sleazy duo are eventually convicted of murder.
