Plot Synopsis
Sequel to the 2016 Hallmark TV movie, "The Wedding March." After spending several months apart following their unexpected reunion, former college sweethearts Olivia Parsons and Mick Turner are about to see each other again when Olivia decides to make a change in her life and move to Mick's lakeside inn. Mick is hopeful of starting over, but no one is more excited to see him get back together with Olivia than his daughter Julie. She's home from college with her boyfriend Wyatt, and it's clear she has love on her mind. For now, though, she is more focused on her dad's romance than her own. She prepares a romantic dinner for Mick and Olivia to kick off their reunion. But when Olivia arrives and sees that Mick is ready to jump right back in where they left off, she reveals that she's not ready for a relationship and has only come to help him make the Willow Lake Inn the best wedding resort in Vermont. Hiding his disappointment, he reluctantly agrees to the partnership. In no time, their different approaches to running a business cause them to clash and while getting ready for the resort's first wedding, the planning hits a bumpy road. Adding to the chaos is the demanding bride-to-be Corinne, whose simple wedding starts to become more elaborate by the day, much to the chagrin of her laid back fiance, Chris. Like Mick and Olivia, Corinne and Chris are opposites but their love is without doubt, so during the rehearsal dinner, Mick pulls Chris aside and tells him about the mistakes he once made and cautioning the young man not to do the same. But somehow Chris misinterprets his words of wisdom and calls off the wedding, leading Olivia to blame him for the fiasco. It's all looking rocky until Corinne's mother and sister share their own near-breakup stories. With a new understanding of why Chris left, Corinne drives off determined to win him back. As Mick and Olivia watch what could have been a disaster turn into a gorgeous wedding, they exchange glances and their chemistry is undeniable. Sure, their working relationship could use some help...but it just may be time to finally give romance a chance.
