Plot Synopsis
A forensic psychiatrist, whose marriage is falling apart, is framed for the murder of a young woman who is obsessed with him. When he rebuffs her, she commits suicide, staging it to appear that they were having an affair and that he killed her. With little support from his family and the detectives assigned to the case he eventually proves his innocence in a contentious trial.
