Plot Synopsis
In 1910, a tough Arizona prison warden finds himself attracted to the wife of a condemned prisoner and ponders whether he has devoted too much of himself to law and not enough time on matters of the heart. While trying to make sense of his life, he must make sure an old buddy of his, imprisoned on a murder charge and determined not to spend his life behind bars, does not break out.
