Plot Synopsis
Based on the book "Need You for Keeps" by Marina Adair. Sequel to Hallmark's original movies "Autumn in the Vineyard" and "Summer in the Vineyard." With Valentine's Day a month away, Frankie Baldwin and Nate DeLuca plan to surprise one another with unusual gifts, tokens of how they have loved and learned since becoming co-owners of Sorrento Farms winery. Though Frankie and Nate like to tease each other about their particular personality traits and working methods, they nonetheless appreciate their differences as strengthening their relationship, as well as their business. Sorrento Farms wine is in high demand and they are in the midst of expanding their winery, adding acres and planting new vines. Frankie is characteristically worried about the gamble they've made on their business but when it comes to her relationship with Nate, saying "yes" to his marriage proposal is the safest bet in the world. The happy couple is excited to share their big news at the weekly family dinner at the home of Nate's mother. But they are stopped short when Frankie's cousin Lexi and Nate's brother Marco make their own announcement: not only are they getting married, they plan to wed on Valentines Day. Agreeing to keep their engagement a secret for now, Frankie and Nate instead find themselves making a dry-run for their eventual nuptials after they offer to host Lexi and Marco's ceremony at Sorrento Farms. As they juggle wedding planning with a potential crisis in the vineyard, they begin to worry that their differences may be more of a hindrance than they thought. Could it be that they are not a perfect pairing? The answer may well lie in their Valentine's Day gifts for one another.
