Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Torey Hayden. A teacher of emotionally handicapped children is overwhelmed by the addition of a disruptive and violent six year old to her classroom. Eventually bonding with the child, she puts everything aside, including her relationship with her boyfriend, to fight both the child's father and the state to save the little girl from a bleak future.
