Plot Synopsis
Brianne Hawkins, the abused and battered wife of her husband Clay, is coerced into confessing to a murder that he committed. After they are both sentenced to life in prison, she realizes, with the help of her family and a prison psychologist, that her loathsome spouse brainwashed her and that she has the power to stand up to him and tell the truth. She eventually is acquitted of all charges after an emotional retrial.
