Plot Synopsis
After years of abusing his wife and family, Paul Hegstrom leaves them to take up with a girlfriend, a violent liaison that nearly ends in her death. Forced into an experimental program dealing with batterers, Paul finally comes to terms with his behavior, finds redemption and then must try to win his family back. He and his wife eventually reconcile and work together to develop therapy programs for batterers and their victims.
