Plot Synopsis

In Los Angeles, a 13-year old girl stumbles upon a discarded contraption and discovers that it is a weather-making machine. She and her friend, unaware the machine belongs to Santa Claus, decide to use the device to make it snow--because if school is closed, she won't have turn in her term paper. The city soon becomes paralyzed with unremitting snow while a conniving local weatherman discovers the secret and decides the gadget is good for his career. In a race against time the kids team up with Santa in attempt to save Christmas and return LA to normal.
