Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''Albatross'' by Deborah Scaling-Kiley, Meg Noonan. A nomadic young woman joins 4 other crewmates on a 60ft. luxury sailboat that is being delivered to Vancouver from San Diego. She soon discovers that the boat is not as seaworthy as it looks and the captain is sorely lacking in leadership skills. A devastating offshore storm sinks the boat, casting adrift the crew on a small raft with no food or water. Three perish in the ordeal and the two remaining survivors are eventually rescued.
