Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Joy Fielding. A workaholic assistant DA finds herself being stalked by the rapist she is trying to prosecute, and who is being defended by her possessive ex-husband. She uncovers the fact that her ex- spouse forced the sexual deviant to scare her in the hopes she would return to his protective arms. It is also revealed that her obsessive ex was responsible for her mother's death years earlier when mom started to convince her daughter that his controlling behavior was dangerous.
