Plot Synopsis
Based on the personal journal of Lieutenant Colonel Michael Strobl. In 2004, Lt.Col. Mike Strobl volunteers for military escort duty to accompany the body of 19-year-old Lance Corporal Chance Phelps, USMC, who was killed in action in Iraq. The journey across America, beginning at Dover Air Force Base in Virginia and ending in Dubois, Wyoming chronicles the spontaneous outpouring of support and respect for the fallen Marine. This final journal home becomes a transcending experience for Strobl, a Desert Storm veteran with 17 years of military service.
