Plot Synopsis

In New York City, Desiree Harper leads the perfect life as the wife of a high-powered plastic surgeon. It all comes to a sudden end when her husband, Wade, says he wants a divorce and invokes their ironclad pre-nuptial agreement that leaves her penniless. She now finds herself abandoned by her rich friends and back in her New Jersey hometown helping her father, Paddy, in his struggling bakery. Though she'd like nothing more than to return to her chic, upper class lifestyle, spending time with her father causes her to see things differently. She rediscovers her love of baking and puts her business degree to work to save her father's shop. Her success at the bakery leads to an unexpected opportunity that forces her to choose between what she has lost and the new life she has found. She soon makes a fresh start by rediscovering her roots and taking a chance on a new romance.
