Plot Synopsis

Remake of the 1946 Hitchcock classic. A beautiful mute nurse takes a job as a nurse to a wealthy bedridden matriarch who lives in a secluded island mansion. She quickly fits in with the clan but soon discovers the wicked goings-on at the estate, which includes a sinister murder plot and duplicitous family members. During a violent storm members of the household are murdered and she, herself, is terrorized by the killer. Now put in the unlikely position of saving others, she must summon the courage to overcome the fear that took her voice years ago.
