Plot Synopsis
Set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity this romantic comedy follows three best friends with different philosophies on sex and relationships. Val is an ambitious aspiring fashion mogul who wants to find a true partner. Keisha on the other hand, is a former video dancer just looking for a rich man to keep her in style. April has supposedly found the perfect man and the perfect marriage - but is learning that marriage isn't necessarily a happy ending. Which woman has the right approach to relationships? On Monday, May 30, 2011 at 9pm ET, VH1 aired a two-hour premiere event of SINGLE LADIES, which was originally billed as a made-for-TV-movie and is now considered a back-door pilot.
