Plot Synopsis

Lt. Paula Coughlin, a helicopter pilot and admiral's aide, files sexual assault charges against the Navy when she is groped and harassed during a rowdy party in 1991 by Naval aviators attending the annual Tailhook convention in Las Vegas. He efforts to seek redress through official channels falls on deaf ears. Going public with her story forces the Pentagon to launch a 2 year investigation which embarrassed the Navy brass but resulted in no officers being disciplined or court-martialed. Appalled by the lack of sensitivity and support from the military establishment she ultimately resigned her commission.
