Plot Synopsis

Based on the book by Delaine Moore. Delaine Moore is a 36-year-old wife and mother who has built her life around taking care of her husband and two young children. She is only marginally happy in her marriage, and her husband is controlling and emotionally distant. When she finds out he is having an affair, she asks for a divorce. A visit to an acupuncturist for a back problem leads to an affair with the much younger man, but he, too, disappoints her when she finds out he was only using her for sex. Devastated and alone for the first time in her life -- and facing a nasty custody battle -- she reaches out to her best friend for support. Her friend urges her to explore the world of online dating to find a man to take her mind off her troubles and have a good time. That's where she meets The Duke, who, through a myriad of sexual experiences, helps her find the ambition, assertiveness and sexual desire she has been missing for so many years.
