Plot Synopsis

Darcy Blake is kind, charismatic and funny with a heart of gold, qualities that work perfectly for her job as a greeting card writer. As the star card writer at Harrington House of Cards, she writes about romance with humor and great insight, but the reality is that she is single with four cats. When new CEO Will Harrington takes over the company from his ailing grandfather, Darcy is appalled by his bottom-line approach and fears that he will institute massive lay-offs and ruin the holiday season. Even though they clash at first, there's a powerful chemistry between them but only if they can get past the misunderstandings and miscommunications that may doom their romance before it truly begins. Trouble ensues when he hires Taylor Armstrong to help streamline the company, who sets out to get rid of Darcy, partly because she sees Andrew falling for the warm-hearted writer and not her.
