Plot Synopsis
After moving from snowy New England to the steamy southwest a suburban family tries, unsuccessfully, to get into the holiday spirit. When their daughter learns from her parents that there is no Santa Claus she becomes determined to prove them wrong and sets an elaborate trap to catch him. Santa is captured, but her disbelieving parents assume the ho-ho hostage is a burglar and have him arrested. When they discover the truth the must spring Santa from jail to save Christmas.
