Plot Synopsis

A U.S. infantry squad in the remote deserts of Afghanistan discovers that insurgents aren't their biggest threat. After a series of explosions shatter the surface, a mass of giant prehistoric sand serpents emerge that soon lay waste to everything in their path. Soliciting the help of an Afghani refugee, the squad's only chance to survive is to descend through a maze of underground tunnels, as dangerous as the sand serpents themselves. Once down under, there's no way out, no retreat, and no mercy.
