Plot Synopsis

Local Willow Bay biology teacher Claire Richards is a bridesmaid for three weddings in one month and wants to give her ex, Jason, back in town for each of them, another chance. Claire takes a group of students to Blue Island as part of her Summer Enrichment Biology class, and finds out that Tom will captain the ship that will take them to/from the island all summer. On the island, Claire spots surveyors and learns that the city might be selling the island. She and Tom are furious and together they work to save it. While hoping to revive her relationship with Jason, she soon finds herself helplessly attracted to Tom, a self-professed adventurer who is unlikely to stick around for long.
