Plot Synopsis

A fading rodeo star picks up a young hitchhiker, a teenage girl traveling aimlessly through the backroads of the southwest. During the time they spend together, the two develop a warm friendship that transcends their differences. They are drawn closer together as they confront the disapproving eyes of those around them, especially from his old girlfriend who is jealous of the unique relationship the two have formed.
