Plot Synopsis

A rookie New York magazine food critic finds her life complicated when her flamboyant, cruise ship dancer mother shows up unannounced to celebrate Christmas. Mom soon invites herself along on restaurant assignments and drives everyone crazy. Desperate to get rid of her, she promises to visit a handsome young chef's struggling restaurant if he agrees to date her mother. She soon finds herself falling for the hot chef and fighting with her competitive mother. They all eventually learn the true meaning of love and acceptance.
