Plot Synopsis
Developmentally disabled couple, Donna and Ricardo Thornton who grew up in the same institution, fall in love as adults and want to marry. But their relationship is threatened when their facility is closed and they are forced to fend for themselves and social services refuses to let them marry. Overcoming extraordinary circumstances they eventually forge a life together as husband and wife.
