Plot Synopsis

Young singing sensation Ava McNeill has just released a new song and video that is counter to her squeaky clean image. At the release party she clashes with her mother and boyfriend, who are very worried about how overtly sexual her new image is. Ava insists she hadn't 'changed' but that it's all an act. She decides she needs to get away from it all and write some new songs, so she decides to take a drive up the coast to Maine. She stops to get gas and has a conversation with the mechanic, Xavier, who appears to not recognize her. She is soon driving into a giant storm that is pummeling the New England coast and crashes her car into a ditch. When she wakes up, she finds herself in an old, secluded lighthouse being tended to by the same Xavier from the gas station. He tells that he found her on his way home and pulled her from her car. Because of the storm there is no phone or internet, and the hospital is too far away. At first he seems very nice, but she quickly discovers that he is not just her rescuer, but a mentally unstable and obsessed fan who believes she is the image created in her videos. Now held captive, she must fight for her life to escape his psychotic fantasies.
