Plot Synopsis

Wedding planner extraordinaire Jessica Summers inadvertently meets handsome event coordinator Adam Parker as they hurry to a business meeting in a hotel ballroom. There is immediate chemistry between them. But things sour fast when Adam tries to coerce her into letting him have the venue, which she previously booked, for one of his upcoming events. She is soon hired by Gabby, whose son, Paul, plans to marry his fiance. But the couple has opposing visions of their wedding day with Lucy dreaming of an elegant ceremony and Paul preferring an informal, no-frills affair. Jessica learns that Adam is Paul's cousin. Having been recruited by Paul to help plan the event, Adam offers "masculine" wedding ideas that strongly go against Lucy's romantic sensibilities. Refusing to work with Adam, Jessica quits the job. Gabby realizes Adam has no wedding experience and begs Jessica to meet with him and offer him professional advice. Feeling sympathy for Lucy, Jessica agrees. As the wedding day approaches, the clashing wedding planners find romance of their own and discover that opposites can produce the most surprising results.
