Plot Synopsis
In 2002 California, Laci Peterson, eight months pregnant, disappeared. In a desperate search by police and the community that grabbed the nation's attention, the case becomes focused on her husband Scott. It is revealed that he had a secret affair and his innocence is soon questioned by friends and family. He is eventually charged with her murder and awaits trial.
