Plot Synopsis

In California, wealthy veterinarian April Hill, who is recently divorced and mother to a young son, reunites with Jacob, a former classmate, at her high-school reunion. Jacob appears to be the complete package -- hunky, charming and rich -- but, unfortunately, he's not what he appears to be. Jacob and his evil wife, Karen, have set her as their new mark in an elaborate scheme to get her money. Unaware, April starts to fall in love with him as they become the perfect couple. But as events unfold and she begins to put the pieces together, she soon realizes she just might wind up dead and maybe by someone in her own family who is also in on the plot to get her inheritance.
