Plot Synopsis

A pair of newlyweds, both past widowed, with kids from previous marriages finds themselves trying to keep their children from arguing their way through the holidays. Each of the kids only want to take part in the traditions they've gotten used to and don't have any interest in bonding with their new siblings. It begins to look like the family's first Christmas might be canceled, and the couple must put their faith in "Christmas magic" to bring everyone together. Ultimately everyone realizes that giving up old traditions doesn't mean forgetting what they represented and that having a new family calls for starting new traditions.
