Plot Synopsis

Sequel to the 2014 Hallmark Channel TV Movie "Northpole." Mackenzie Warren, an earnest and dazzling 40-year old estate appraiser for Carlisle's Auction House in New York, informs her boss she plans on working straight through the holiday season. With Christmas only two weeks away, Mackenzie learns she's inherited her late Aunt Grace's old and dilapidated inn. Despite her warm childhood memories of Christmases at the inn, she decides to sell it and drives to Vermont to arrange the transaction. Meanwhile, in Northpole, Clementine, a cheerful young elf, is recruited by Santa Claus for a mission: In order for Santa to travel the world on Christmas Eve, he needs to stop at certain "power stations" -- points of magic -- around the globe to power his sleigh. The Northern Lights Inn is one such power station and since Mackenzie lacks Christmas spirit and plans on selling, the inn will not be able to provide the power he needs. Santa asks Clementine to visit Mackenzie and help her find the magic required to light up the inn and generate power to his sleigh on Christmas Eve. With the support of a handsome local handyman, Clementine helps Mackenzie rediscover love and the true magic of Christmas.
