Plot Synopsis

Based on the play by Israel Horovitz. Workers in a frozen fish factory in Gloucester, Mass. have trouble accepting the fact that no matter how hard they try, the company is going under. The intimate camaraderie of the group helps them get through the monotony of work, especially when the pressure is on to increase their output. Complicating matters is a new health inspector who could shut them down if they don't meet government standards.
