Plot Synopsis
Soap opera star, Deidre Hall, tries unsuccessfully to conceive a baby after years of painful and disappointing medical procedures which ultimately destroys her marriage. She reconnects and marries her old flame, producer and writer Steve Sohmer, and together they decide to hire a young surrogate mother, who provides the couple with a healthy baby boy.
