Plot Synopsis

BFFs Naomi and Liz Waitt have spent the last 36 years doing everything together -- including running a successful app and enjoying their holidays in Hawaii. But when Naomi's mom Linda, convinces them to spend December in their Iowa hometown -- and then announces her plans to move in with her daughter -- this holiday season promises to be an interesting one. However, when Naomi and Liz discover their high school crush Chris Silver has moved back to town, it seems this Christmas might have a "silver" lining. In high school Chris was out of their league but now Naomi and Liz are sleek powerhouses and Chris -- still very much both of their romantic ideals -- can't help but notice. But as Naomi and Liz enjoy a season of romantic Christmas activities with Chris, a complex love triangle forms. As Naomi and Liz each grow closer with Chris and take stock of themselves, they begin to question their friendship. Has their bond held them back?
