Plot Synopsis
Born in Yugoslavia in 1910, she became a nun and joined a religious order that taught at a convent school in Calcutta. After witnessing India's desperately poor, destitute and dying, she experienced a ''call within a call'' to aide these unfortunates. She established a home for lepers and the homeless and soon the Missionaries of Charity was formed. In 1979, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her years of unfailing devotion to her cause. She died in 1997.
