Plot Synopsis

When her pragmatic daughter defies her authority and marries a blue-collar mechanic, an unhinged, haughty socialite begins a campaign to discredit her son-in-law through lies and innuendo. When that doesn't work she schemes to take the ultimate step to get rid of him--she hires a hit man. Unfortunately the hit man she employs turns out to be an undercover cop who exposes her villainous plot. She is tried and convicted of conspiracy to commit murder.
