Plot Synopsis

On Halloween night, a 13-year old boy uncovers a canister of 1950 horror films locked away in the cellar of an obscure old moviemaker. When opening the never-released 1951 film, ''Monsters on the Loose'', he inadvertently sets free a trio of fiends-a dummy driven to find human replacements parts, a man-sized rat and a ghost who can possess anyone at will. The boy, with the help of the film's heroic leading man, join the town's exuberant efforts to capture the malevolent monsters run amuck.
