Plot Synopsis
A recently divorced mother moves with her two daughters to Seattle from Chicago where her sensitive teen-age daughter befriends a popular but secretly bulimic girl at her new high school. The two girls enter into a frenzied weight -loss pact that results in severe anorexia-- which costs the popular teen her life and the other, an almost fatal battle with the disease. With the help of her supportive mother and medical intervention, the young woman slowly recovers.
