Plot Synopsis
While competing in beauty pageants, Carolyn Sapp, Miss Hawaii, suffers physical and mental abuse from her depressed boyfriend, ex- New York Jets football star Nuu Faaola. After extricating herself from his violent behavior she goes on to be crowned Miss America in 1992.
