Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''Taking to the Air: The Rise of Michael Jordan'' by Jim Naughton. The life of the legendary basketball star from his North Carolina upbringing; his rise with the Chicago Bulls; the tragic murder of his father; his initial retirement in 1993 to his return to the game in 1995 after a short stint as a baseball player. In 1999 he announced his permanent retirement from basketball.
