Plot Synopsis

Mary, a television lifestyles reporter reluctantly accepts a holiday story about a eight-year-old girl who writes to Santa asking for a new mom. She ends up spending the holidays with the child ,her wealthy widowed father and a recently hired ''magical'' nanny. She soon bonds with the kid, who hopes that the pretty reporter will become her mother. When dad announces his engagement to a new girlfriend all conspire to make him see that Mary is his one true love. And a Mary Christmas to all!
