Plot Synopsis
The characters from the old Mary Tyler Moore TV series--Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern reestablish their warm and fuzzy friendship. Both women are now single; Mary a widow and Rhoda divorced, both have college-age daughters. They are back in New York to start their lives over again which means finding a new career in an youth obsessed market and dealing with their needy daughters.
