Plot Synopsis

Ever since her husband Doug passed away three years ago right before Christmas, Lindsey can't get into the holiday spirit. But this year, her 11-year-old daughter Hannah is pushing for a proper Christmas with all the trimmings and reluctantly, Lindsey relents. With the intention of having a simple Christmas, they make a trip to the annual St. George's Christmas Rummage Sale. Hannah finds a second-hand Christmas stocking -- a little old, a little used but plenty charming -- and brings it home with her. When objects inexplicably start to appear in the stocking she is convinced it's magic but Lindsey isn't buying it. Complicating life for Lindsey is Scott Terrell, the handsome, single construction designer who's restoring a gazebo for the town's upcoming tree lighting ceremony, a project Lindsey is overseeing. There are sparks between them but she's hesitant to truly leave her past behind and move forward. But with the help of a possibly magical Christmas stocking, she finds the true meaning of the season.
